SPONSOR BABY ZELDA

babyz4.jpg

Baby Zelda came to Advocates 4 Animals at 6 weeks old. She has sacrocaudal dysgenesis, sacrocaudal agenesis ("manx syndrome") which, as one veterinarian shared, "is an array of problems involving the function of the hind legs, urinary bladder, and colon...the spine and spinal cord are shortened because the last few vertebrae and spinal segments have not developed normally" (Dr. Anne Kathermon, DVM, DACVIM (neurology).

Zelda wears a diaper and needs to be expressed several times a day. She hops with her back legs and is using the pet/kitty stairs to climb. She is very tiny. She is also a very happy little girl. We are doing everything we can at Advocates 4 Animals to help her have a happy, quality life filled with love.

We named her Baby Zelda because Zelda means: "to overcome / strong woman / blessed & happy."

Baby Zelda would be so happy if you would become her sponsor today!
