All About Me!

Hi - I'm Brennon! I am estimated to be approx. 5-8 years young. I am neutered and vetted and ready for adoption here at Advocates 4 Animals!

My life started out *very* tough. Words and photos cannot begin to convey the conditions I was rescued from. I was rescued with 40+ other cats and kittens from a house that had been foreclosed on. The home had not had running water or electricity for over a year and we (cats) were forced into living in beyond unsanitary conditions.

Thankfully, Advocates 4 Animals was able to make sure we all got to safety and that we were all spayed/neutered and vetted. Due to the trauma we endured prior to rescue, I (and the others rescued) will naturally be shy and reserved when first meeting you - as we want to be sure we can trust you and that we can trust that our new home/environment will be clean, loving, kind, and a true forever home. It is important that I find a home that is understanding of my past and that is patient with me to warm up and adjust and who understands that I am shy and is okay with that.

Also, due to my past, I strongly prefer to be in a home with another cat who wishes to have a cat buddy. If you'd like to adopt me with one of the cats I was rescued with, please email Advocates 4 Animals and they can tell you who my best buddies are (info@advocates4animals.com). Or, if you have another cat already who would like a good cat buddy - I would love that!

I prefer a home that is calm and kind/caring. I will do best in a home without small children.

I enjoy looking out windows, lounging around on cat climbers and cozy pet beds and being petted and loved on.

I love listening to calming music too.

I am listed as SPECIAL NEEDS because I do require wet/canned food daily - my favorite is BFF wet/canned food because it's easiest for me to consume. When I was rescued, my mouth was full of ulcers and was very painful due to my prior neglect/abuse/trauma. Thankfully, after medication treatment it has been much better. However, I still prefer the regular wet food. I eat dry food as well, but really enjoy the wet/canned food. I am also listed as Special Needs because I don't have a ton of energy. I just enjoy laying around and being loved on and near you. The veterinarians didn't find anything medically wrong with me - and it may be due to all of the trauma I endured prior to rescue, and my age - but I am very low key. I do have A LOT OF LOVE to share and I hope to find a home that understands my past and who will love me as I am. I am VERY SWEET and hope I won't be overlooked for adoption because of my Special Needs.

I endured the unthinkable prior to rescue and now I am ready to find a loving, forever home - my dream home!

Are you ready to meet/adopt me?

Love,

Brennon
