Kandy’s Rescue Story

Posted by on

Kandy was rescued from a high-kill shelter within hours of her scheduled death. She came to A4A severely dehydrated and emaciated, filled with worms and covered in fleas and ticks. Since her rescue, Kandy has made a full recovery and is spayed, vaccinated and fully vetted as she patiently waits to be adopted. She is here at Advocates 4 Animals in her volunteer foster home (Xenia, OH) and hopes to be adopted soon. Statistically, gray/white short-hair adult cats are next to short-hair adult black cats— typically last in line for adoption. But Kandy hopes people will choose her for adoption because she really has so much love to share! She will do best in a calm home. She does great with other cats and dogs too. She loves to play, but really loves to sit on your lap, be petted, held and bask in the sunlight that comes through the windows. She is a happy, healthy girl — and full of love and kindness! Despite her difficult start in life, Kandy is so grateful for every day and hopes to find her forever home soon. Click here for more photos/videos/adoption info on Kandy:
