A4A works directly with animals in high-kill shelters. We believe that every life matters. Thank you all, for your kindness, compassion, and support of animals in need everywhere.

Even though the bulk of our work is centered around education and advocacy, we would be lost without our rescue focus to keep us tied to the souls of the cats and dogs who linger on death row lists in shelters across the country. Our foster cats and dogs remind us every day why it's important to keep marching forward towards the No Kill Movement. We are a small team of dedicated volunteers who stay busy rehabilitating and providng unconditional love to rescued pets while they patiently wait for forever homes to each call their very own.
